Lubricating Specialties Company (LSC), the largest independent lubricant blender in the Western United States headquartered in Pico Rivera California, has purchased the VISTONE® compressor fluid brand and associated business from Infineum USA L.P. (Infineum).

The VISTONE® product line consists of high performance, synthetic diester compressor fluids as well as synthetic diester base fluids utilized in a wide range of products from engine and hydraulic oils to industrial oils and greases. The transaction closed on December 30th, 2016 and included the purchase of an aviation DI additive (M7260) and a versatile viscosity modifier (V8512) utilized in many industrial and grease formulations.

We believe that LSC’s strong technical and supply capabilities will serve these businesses well.”
